The Tama 1st Chair HT230 combines a traditional round padded seat with a stable double-braced base and Tama's flexible 1st Chair height adjustment system.

Traditional Round Seat

The 13" round seat provides a familiar seating shape that allows plenty of freedom of movement behind the drum kit.

With approximately 90mm of seat thickness, the HT230 provides substantial cushioning while retaining the versatile feel that makes round drum thrones a popular choice across different playing styles.

1st Chair Height Adjustment

Tama's 1st Chair adjustment system combines the precision of a threaded rod with the speed of a conventional T-bolt adjustment.

The threaded rod can first be moved quickly to approximately the desired position before the Height Lock is used for finer adjustment. This provides precise control over playing height without requiring the seat to be threaded through the entire adjustment range.

With a height range of 460mm to 660mm, the throne can be positioned to suit a wide variety of players and drum kit setups.
