The Meinl SB401 Drum Mallets combine a familiar 5A-sized American hickory handle with a medium-soft felt head, giving drum set players an easy way to introduce cymbal swells, warmer tom voices, and softer dynamic textures into their playing.

Designed specifically for use around the drum kit, the SB401 retains the familiar dimensions and feel of a 5A-style handle while replacing the conventional drumstick tip with a 31mm felt mallet head.
